How to Study for the TEAS in 2 Weeks (2026)

Section layout per ATI · Verify at atitesting.com/teas and with your program

TL;DR. Two weeks is workable if you triage by the section weights: Science carries the most questions and usually the coldest material, so it gets the most days. The plan: a diagnostic on day one, Science and Math first, short daily sessions with reviews at about 1, 3 and 7 days, one timed set under section clocks, and sleep before the exam. If your diagnostic puts you far below your programs’ cutoffs, check what your school allows for rescheduling and retakes before you commit: retake rules vary by program; confirm with ATI at atitesting.com/teas and with your program.

Triage by the official weights

Per ATI, the TEAS runs 170 questions in 209 minutes across four timed sections. (Confirm the current layout at atitesting.com/teas.)

SectionQuestions · timeWhere the two weeks go
Science50 · 60 minDays 1–5: anatomy & physiology first; it’s the largest block and usually the coldest
Reading45 · 55 minDays 6–7: passage strategy and pacing, not content
Mathematics38 · 57 min15 minutes daily from day 1: conversions and proportions fade fastest
English & Language Usage37 · 37 minDays 8–9: a minute per question, so practice pacing more than grammar rules

How Trelos does this

Trelos quizzes you before each lesson and skips the lesson when you get the questions right; what you got confidently wrong is re-taught first; and every concept comes back for review about 1, 3 and 7 days after you learn it — the same rhythm as the plan above. The TEAS track covers 180 questions across 30 concepts in six sections. The first topics are free with no sign-up to start. Full access is a $14 launch price through Nov 30, 2026 ($29 after): one payment, 12 months.

Pass guarantee: learn every concept in your track and keep up your scheduled reviews, and if you still don’t pass, your access is extended free — three more months per attempt — until you do. It’s an extension, not a refund.

FAQ

Can I study for the TEAS in one week?
As triage: diagnostic, Science A&P and Math daily, one timed set, sleep. It works for candidates whose diagnostic is already near their target and who need pacing and a refresh, not for rebuilding a semester of A&P.
What should I do the night before the TEAS?
Review your weakest Science and Math items lightly, confirm the section timing and your test logistics, and sleep normally.
Should I reschedule?
If your diagnostic composite is well below your programs’ cutoffs, ask your school what rescheduling and retakes it allows. Policies and waiting periods are set by programs, and ATI’s own rules apply to tests booked through ATI. Confirm at atitesting.com/teas and with your program.
What score do I need?
There’s no universal pass mark: each program sets its own cutoff. Study toward your strictest target school’s number. See the TEAS guide.
